 For
many years New York State, through the Energy Planning Board,
has received annual fillings from major suppliers pursuant
to Section 6-106 of the New York State Energy Law. This section
of law expired January 1, 2003, and several legislative Proposals
are being considered to continue this effort.
In Lieu of a legislative mandate, the New York State Energy
Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), which has served
as the secretariat organization to the Energy Planning Board,
is asking that major energy suppliers continue to file information
on a voluntary basis until such time as new energy planning
legislation is adopted. This will ensure a consistent data
set for planning and policy purposes, and continue the good
relationship that we have developed over the years with major
energy suppliers in support of our mutual interests.

These forms are no longer year-specific. You will need to
enter the current reporting year on the form. After completing
your form, please save it. Next year you will be able to simply
update this year's form. You may submit your form electronically
to the address provided below.
