State Energy Planning Board to Host Public Comment Forum

What:              The New York State Planning Board will be holding a public forum to provide New                         Yorkers an opportunity to comment to the Board on the draft State Energy Plan. 

                        Released on August 10, the draft State Energy Plan outlines five policy strategies to                         guide policy makers in transforming the State to a Clean Energy Economy that                         creates jobs, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, stimulates growth in the clean                         energy technology sector, and invests in infrastructure to produce and deliver energy                         more efficiently. 

                        The draft plan spans a 10 year planning horizon.
