7th Annual Innovations in Agriculture Conference
Innovation in Agriculture helps New York farmers improve profitability while meeting new energy and environmental challenges. Agriculture makes a multibillion-dollar contribution to New York State’s economy. To remain competitive, New York farmers continue to seek new ways to cut energy costs, improve productivity, and manage wastes. By bringing together industry leaders, NYSERDA is continuing its efforts to establish ties between new energy saving technologies, economic development and the agriculture related industries.
Session 1: Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) April 16 – 17th 2007
- Learn about market trends, technology, and energy factors that are creating opportunities for CEA in New York State.
- Discuss with key stakeholders how you can participate in the early stages of this growing industry to produce fresh fruit, vegetables and other specialty crops year-round.
Session 2: Biogas and Manure Management April 17 – 18th 2007
