First and most importantly, if you are having trouble paying your energy bills and need assistance, there are a variety of programs you can turn to for help. HeatSmartNY.org consolidates this information and provides information about a variety of programs to get you to the best option quickly.
Second, we all need to identify ways reduce our energy usage and bills. HeatSmartNY is filled with low-cost and no-cost tips to guide you and get your home ready for the tough winter ahead. For hands on assistance, attend one of the 630 Energy Efficiency Workshops which are planned across New York. With HeatSmartNY, you can also learn about programs available to help you plan for larger upgrades to make your home more energy efficient.
