1. Confirm interest by telephone and interview customer's needs.
2. If necessary, visit customer to identify needs. Assist customer in the selection of a FlexTech consultant.
3. Scoping visit with FlexTech consultant at customer site. Consultant will collect sufficient information to develop a Scope of Work. This Scope is the customer's application for FlexTech assistance.
4. Consultant develops draft Scope of Work and presents it to NYSERDA. NYSERDA reviews Scope for program compliance. NYSERDA sends Scope to customer with Participation Agreement, typically one page. Agreement lists funding amount (Percent of project, not-to-exceed amount, and repayment particulars) and NYSERDA’s expectations and requirements.
5. Customer reviews, request revisions, (if necessary) and agrees to final Scope of Work. Customer signs NYSERDA Participation Agreement. Customer and Consultant negotiate terms for payment of Customer’s share.
This is the point where the customer's financial obligation begins.
6. Consultant provides service in accordance with the Scope of Work and develops draft study. Study is submitted to NYSERDA for technical review. Revised study is submitted to customer by NYSERDA.
7. Study review meeting with contractor and customer, if included in Scope of Work.
8. Study Finalized.
9. Follow-up survey of participants to document results (ECMs implemented) and to evaluate service.
